found passion...

It all started in 2014, when I spent 3 hours in my grandfather’s shop.  He has always been a woodworker and woodturner, and I was always so enamored by what he created on the lathe.  So, one day I asked him if I could make something with him.  He of course said yes.  Using 5 tools and 3 hours with him I made a candlestick, and I was hooked!  I found an exciting new passion.  This grew into a side hobby with gifting away everything I made.  I was very busy and enjoyed every minute of it!  When our children were born, I unfortunately suffered with depression and no longer turned on the lathe, the pressures of a busy work life did not help in this matter.  I decided to focus more energy on the things I loved and what mattered the most in my life.  My family.  I had a TURNING POINT in my career and left my day job to pursue my passion for woodworking once again.  This is how Turning PNT Studios came to life.

I love what I do, and I love heading out to my home studio space and creating something beautiful out of what others would throw into a fire!

I use several different mediums to create these one of a kind pieces and majority of the material used is sourced urban lumber from fallen trees collected locally.
